Type locality and specimens. West Indies. Holotype, anamorph male, 2.5 mm (reported as one tenth of an inch).

Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on descriptions by Stebbing (1897) and Thomas (1997).

Diagnosis. Ventral keel anterior margin with microscopic teeth. Gnathopod 2 coxa enlarged; propodus elongate with 3 prominent projections; dactylus with 2 projections on inner margin.

Leucomorph (juvenile/sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown.

Habitat. No specific habitat or depth reported.

Host. Goniastrea varia Dana. Thomas (1997) states that the host may not be accurately identified.

Distribution. Tropical Atlantic Ocean: West Indies ( Stebbing 1897; Stebbing 1906); Caribbean Sea: Mexico ( Oliva-Rivera & Jimenez-Cueto 1992) and Columbia ( Ortiz & Lemaitre 1994).
