Specimen measured. SP (holotype).

Dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, reticulate anterolaterally and lightly striate anteriad Z4, 371 long and 225 wide. Setal lengths: j1 27, j3 23, j4 11, j5 10, j6 11, J2 16, J5 13, z2 12, z4 14, z5 7, Z1 18, Z4 48, Z5 84, s4 37, S2 23, S4 15, S5 16, r3 14 and R1 13. Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 61, st2–st2 64, st5–st5 66. Ventrianal shield 127 long, 104 wide at level of Zv2 and 93 at anus level. Spermathecal calyx saccular to cup-shaped, 15 long; atrium nodular. Fixed cheliceral digit 35 long, with nine teeth; movable digit 38 long, with three teeth. Macrosetae on legs II–IV, sharp-tipped, except SgeIV and StIV, knobbed; SgeII 29, SgeIII 33, SgeIV 48, StiIV 26 and StIV 49 .

Distribution in Brazil. Minas Gerais (Silva et al., 2010) and S ão Paulo ( Denmark & Muma, 1973).

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil. The measurements provided in this publication are based on our examination of the holotype. They are similar to the measurements of the original description, except SgeIV and StiIV, both about 1.3 longer in the measurements done in this study. The measurement of the spermathecal calyx was not mentioned in the original description.
