Specimens examined: 12 females, CHINA, Jilin, Fusong County, Xianren Bridge.

This species was described ( Yosii 1954) from Japan and reported from Korea ( Lee 1975), Vladivostoc, Russia ( Martynova 1969) and five (Chongqing, Fujian, Hunan, Sichuan, Jiangxi) provinces of China ( Liu & Hou 1998; Huang & Liu 1999; Sun, Liang and Huang 2007a & b). It can be easily separated from the other species of the genus Tomocerus by the following characters: antennae about half length of body, tenaculum with 1 seta and dental spine formula as 3 – 4/ 1 – 2, II ( Sun, Liang and Huang,2007a & b). The Jilin specimens agree well with the description of Yosii (1954, 1967) except that one hind tibiotarsus has 5 blunt spine-like setae instead of 1–2 and one specimen has 2 setae on the tenaculum rather than 1.
