Diagnosis
Females of T. spiralis sp. nov. can be recognized by the spiral insemination ducts and the enlarged, spatulate secretory ampullae ( Figure 17 View Figure 17 B).
Type material
Holotype. ♀, Indonesia: Borneo, East Kalimantan Province: Berau Distinct, Hutan Wisata Sei Tangap , c. 8 km west of Tanjung Redeb, 30 m, primary forest , 2 October 2008, leg. P.J. Schwendinger ( MHNG, IND-08 / 13) .
Paratype. Berau District: 1 km off road Tanjung Redeb – Tanjung Selor, c. 45 km north of Tanjung Redeb, 190 m, primary forest , 29 September to 3 October 2008, P.J. Schwendinger, 1♀ ( MHNG, IND-08 / 07) ; near Kampung Suaran, c. 40 km south of Tanjung Redeb, 50 m, primary forest on limestone , 1 October 2008, leg. P.J. Schwendinger, 1♀ ( MHNG, IND-08 / 11) .
Etymology
The specific epithet is derived from Latin ( spiralis , - ale = spiral), and refers to the strongly convoluted insemination ducts of the female internal genitalia.
Description
Female (holotype). Total length 5.20; prosoma 2.50 long, 1.72 wide; opisthosoma 2.70 long, 1.36 wide. Leg formula: 1423; I 11.42 (2.58, 1.00, 3.58, 2.50, 1.76); II 9.16 (2.10, 1.00, 2.82, 1.98, 1.26); III 7.76 (1.76, 0.98, 2.22, 1.70, 1.10); IV 11.00 (2.70, 1.00, 3.08, 2.72, 1.50). Spination: Leg I: Femora p1-1-1; tibiae p10 r10; metatarsi p6 r6. Leg II: Tibiae p8 r8; metatarsi p4 r4. Carapace yellowish brown; submarginal lobes blunt; integument not punctate. Sternum orange-brown. Legs hairless, uniformly brown. Opisthosoma elongate-ovoid. Dorsum dark greenish.
Genitalia ( Figure 17 View Figure 17 A,B): Epigyne with elliptic copulatory orifices situated anteriorly. Internally represented by elongated proximal convoluted ducts and enlarged terminal spermathecae. Secretory ampullae spatulated, with long stalks and numerous pore ductules. Fertilization ducts lanceolated.

Distribution
On the east coast of Borneo (East Kalimantan Province) ( Figure 18).
