2(1) Marginal setae stoutly setose, without fimbriations and not broadening towards apex............................... 3

3(2) Cribriform plate dorsad to mouthparts composed of loosely arranged sclerotised pores. Each stigmatic cleft with spiracular disc-pores along margin. Large oval to round sclerotised areas on dorsum mostly each more than 200 μm wide and relatively sparse. Preopercular pores sparse.............................................. - Cribriform plate composed of a compact group of sclerotised pores, each pore more or less touching. Each stigmatic cleft without spiracular disc-pores along margin.
