Type material of Cicynethus hongfuchui (examined). Holotype juvenile (coll. no. S0 35), CHINA: Hainan Island , Panja Town, Songtao Reservoir , 3.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al .; Paratype: 1 juvenile (coll. no. S035b), same data as holotype .

Comments. The type specimens of Storenomorpha hongfuchui were treated as adult female, and figure of epigynum was provided in original description. However, a re-examination of both type specimens confirmed they are juvenile, making further study of the taxonomy of this species impossible. We treat it as nomen dubium.
