Etymology. The species name is a Latin adjective (luteus, -a, -um = yellow).

Type material. Holotype ♂, PHILIPPINES, Luzon I., Albay Prov, Tabaco , XI.1976, D. Quinalayo ( BPBM, # 11,961).

Distribution. Philippines, North Borneo.
