Chorotype. Central Mediterranean: Sicily, Corsica and Sardinia, Tunisia, Algeria ( Mayor, 2007b). Affinities: see P.aureola .

Notes. A wingless species, bright green as the other Psilothrix , rather small and showing the modifications often associated with apterism: elytra without humeral calli and, in females only, widened in posterior half. Not uncommon in Sardinia but only in the south ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 24–27 ); also known from Corsica ( Mayor 2007b) , where it is rare.
