Anthidiellum (s. str.) xinjiangensis Wu, 2004b: 775. Holotype: ♀, China, Xinjiang, Dushanzi, 450 m, 26.VI.1956, leg. Chun-Pei HONG, IZCAS, examined; Wu, 2006: 125, ♀, fig. 60.

Pseudoanthidium (Pseudoanthidium) xinjiangense (Wu, 2004) : Niu et al., 2016: 343.

Diagnosis: The species is only known in the female. Body length 6.0 mm ( Fig. 7a ); paraocular area maculated only up to the level of antennal socket ( Fig. 7b ); mandible with 5 teeth ( Figs 7b, 7c ); propodeum with a fovea defined behind the propodeal spiracle, but the fovea not defined by a strong carina ( Fig. 7g ).

Material examined: Xinjiang, Dushanzi (44º18′N, 84º48′E), 450 m, 1 ♀, 26.VI.1957, leg. Chun-Pei HUANG (holotype) ; 1 ♀ (paratype), same label information as holotype; Mannas Xian, National Wetland Protection Park (44º24′N, 86º09′E), 364 m, 1 ♀ (on Epilobium angustifolium ), 16.VIII.2015, leg. Ze-Qing NIU .

Floral association: Epilobium angustifolium (Onagraceae) .

General distribution: China (Xinjiang).
