Diagnosis. Male cerci slender, tapering towards the apex; distal portion of apical valves of aedeagus highly projected ventrally in a longitudinal keel; sheath of aedeagus largely developed, wide.

Description. Body color dorsally olive green, anterior edge of pronotum whitish; face, thorax ventrally and mid-ventral portion of lateral lobes of pronotum varying from blue porcelain to green (in alive specimens); abdominal sternites and subgenital plate vermillion red; ventral area of first and second pair of legs greenish cream; hind femur with outer area red with yellow chevrons, ventral and inner area red, dorsal area olive green; hind tibiae red. Subgenital plate short ( Fig. 4C View FIGURE 4 ). Epiproct with a transverse ridge ( Fig. 4G View FIGURE 4 ). Cerci slender, tapering towards the acute apex ( Figs. 4C, G View FIGURE 4 ). Phallic complex ( Figs. 5K–S View FIGURE 5 ): endophallic plates narrow in lateral view; rami slender; arch of cingulum highly developed, bulky dorsally; distal portion of apical valves of aedeagus highly projected ventrally in a longitudinal keel; sheath of aedeagus largely developed, wide.

Females: similar to male but more robust; body brownish olive, with a yellow mid-longitudinal stripe on dorsum of abdomen; body ventrally yellowish brown; first and second pair of legs brown with tinges of yellow; ventral area of hind femur and hind tibiae and tarsi orange red; inner area and outer area of hind femur brown with the yellow pinnae. Epiproct and ovipositor valves orange.

Measurements. Body length 19.7 mm (19–21) males, 23.4mm (22–26) females; femur III length 11.1 mm (11–12) males, 13.3mm (13–15) females.

Distribution. Perú, Cajamarca ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 ), in puna grassland areas at the mountain passes, with hard grasses in isolated tufts among big stones and short grass or in continuous stand. (See geographic distribution 1).
