Diagnosis. Males of Ohvida fulvorufa resemble those of O. coxana by the short retrodorsal projection on the cymbium, but can be distinguished from the remaining species of the genus by the presence of numerous prolateral short spines on the male palp tibia ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 A). Females of O. fulvorufa can be distinguished from the remaining species by the slightly elevated median epigynal area, the shape of the lateral epigynal spurs ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C), and by the shape of the spermathecae ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D).

Description. Male (MCZ 32839). Total length 8.40. Carapace 4.60 long, 3.60 wide. Clypeus 0.10 high. Eye diameter: AME 0.15, ALE 0.13, PME 0.17, PLE 0.17. Leg measurements: I: femur 4.20/ patella 1.80/ tibia 4.30/ metatarsus 3.50/ tarsus 1.50/ total 15.30; II: 3.50/ 1.80/ 3.70/ 3.30/ 1.40/ 13.7; III: 3.70/ 1.50/ 3.10/ 3.30/ 1.20/ 12.8; IV: 4.60/ 1.60/ 4.20/ 5.30/ 1.70/ 17.4. Leg spination: tibia I and II v2-2 -2-2-2, r1-1-0, p1-1-0, III and IV v2-2 -2, r1-1, p1-1; metatarsus I, II v2-2 -2, p1-1-1, r1-1-1; III v2-2 -2, r1-1-1, p-1-1-1, IV v1-1 -1-1- 1-2, r1-1-1, p1-1-1. Palp: cymbium with a retrodorsal apophysis truncated; basally projected median apophysis ( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 A–B).

Female (MCZ 32840). Total length (abdomen prepared for scanning electron microscopy). Carapace 4.30 long and 3.30 wide. Clypeus 0.12 high. Eye diameter: AME 0.15, ALE 0.12, PME 0.17, PLE 0.17. Leg measurements: I: femur 3.40/ patella 1.50/ tibia absent/ metatarsus absent/ tarsus absent; II: 3.20/ 1.50/ 2.60/ 2.20/ 0.90/ 10.40; III: 2.20/ 1.40/ 2.10/ 2.20/ 0.90/ 8.80; IV: 3.50/ 1.50/ 3.00/ 3.90/ 1.20/ 13.10. Leg spination: tibia I and II v2-2 -2-2-2, r0, p0, III and IV v2-2 -2, r1-1, p1-1; metatarsus I, II v2-2 -2, r0, p0; III v2-2 -2, r1-1- 1, p-1-1-1, IV v1-1 -1-1-1-2, r1-1-1, p1-1-1. Epigyne: copulatory ducts covering part of the spermathecae ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D).

Remarks. The female specimen listed by Bryant (1940) as C. cabriolatus and deposited in MCZ 79122 is described here as O. turquino sp. nov.
