Distribution. Transeurasiatic, temperate. Throughout the Russian territory from Kaliningradskaya Oblast to Primorye and Sakhalin. Outside Russia: Europe, Turkey, Transcaucasia, N, central and SW China, Korea, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima Isl.).

Hostplants: different deciduous trees: Betula , Malus , Prunus , Sorbus , Crataegus , Salix , Populus , Rubus fruticosus ; also Vaccinium and Ledum ( Beljaev 2016) .
