Iocoris nodulifemoralis View in CoL sp. nov. (Figs. 1–9)

Description. Color. Body mostly dark brown to blackish brown and slightly shiny dorsally, yellowish white ventrally. Head beneath, base of head, small spot between ipsilateral ocellus and eye (Figs. 1, 2), collar, middle of anterior pronotal lobe, posterior-lateral markings on posterior pronotal lobe, ventral surface of thorax, anterior angle of propleuron, lateral margin of scutellum, fore coxal cavities, coxae, trochanters, midannular markings on femora, ventral surface of abdomen (except two lateral parts and caudal segment black) ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2 – 9 ), connexiva [except anterior half of fourth segment, most of fifth segment, posterior-lateral margin of sixth segment blackish brown ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2 – 9 )] milky-white, yellowish white or pale yellowish brown. Tibiae and tarsi light yellowish brown; eyes pale yellowish brown; hemelytra dull brown, semitransparent.

Structure. Body of medium size. Body covered with suberect setae; first antennal segment sparsely clothed with suberect setae, second to fourth segments with procumbent bent short setae; posterior lobe of head, pronotum, apical part of scutellum, femora and tibiae densely clothed with erect longer setae of different length. Head elongate-elliptic; antennae slender, first segment slightly longer than head, second segment shortest, fourth segment slightly longer than first segment; eyes protruding laterally, interocellar space about 2 times as long as distance between ipsilateral eye and ocellus; rostrum slender, first segment nearly reaching posterior margin of eyes, second segment subequal to first and third segments together in length. Anterior angles of pronotum obscurely protrudent; anterior pronotal lobe subequal to half of posterior lobe in length, feebly bulged and centrally sulcate, laterally with curvy thin markings composed of short procumbent setae; middle portion of posterior pronotal lobe feebly longitudinally depressed, but depression not extending to posterior margin of pronotum, lateral sulci prominent, posterolateral margin slightly turned up; scutellum wider at base, with “ Y ”-shaped carina, apex round. Abdomen posteriorly gradually laterally slightly dilated, posterior angle of fifth connexival segment and anterior part of sixth segment angulately produced laterally (Figs. 1, 3). Fore wing distinctly exceeding abdominal tip. Pygophore elliptic; paramere short, clavate, curved in middle, with few long setae at apex; median pygophore process short and slightly ligulately produced upwards ( Figs. 4, 5 View FIGURES 2 – 9 ). Phallosome oblong; phallobase with basal plate subequal to in length and slightly thicker than plate bridge, pedicel short; dorsal phallothecal sclerite sclerotized, apical part broad and round; struts nearly parallel, anteriorly passing middle of phallothecal sclerite ( Figs. 7, 9 View FIGURES 2 – 9 ); apical half of endosoma medianly with two rows of larger spines and laterally with some small spines ( Figs. 7–9 View FIGURES 2 – 9 ).
