Type material. The type material of all the junior synonym species listed above is assumed to be lost. Some of the specimens identified as Goneplax angulata ( Pennant, 1777) , which are deposited at NHM, are labeled as types but the authenticity of the information is highly questionable (P. Clark, pers. comm. with second author).
