Oxytenanthera albociliata Oxytenanthera albociliata Munro, Trans. Linn. Soc. London, 26: 129. 1868 (' albo-ciliata '). -Type: Myanmar, Pegu, Brandis 19 (syntype: K, K000710255!); Myanmar, Moulmein, Falconer 27 (syntype: K, K000710256!).

Diagnosis.

Gigantochloa albociliata has reflexed culm sheath blades, culm sheath ligules 14-18 mm high, erose-toothed; culms have white hispid; dominant branches conspicuous.
