Eugubinus papuensis ( Wygodzinsky, 1966)

Eugubinus papuensis Wygodzinsky, 1966: 245–246 . Holotype: ♂, Papua New Guinea, Kokoda ; BMNH.

Type material examined. Holotype: ♂, “Papua: Kokoda 1200 ft,. v.1933, L.E. Cheesman ”, “ Holotype [red circular label]”, “ Eugubinus papuensis Wygod. ”, “in cobweb”, “NHMUK 013587483” ( BMNH).

Remarks. This species was described from a male holotype and an additional male lacking head. An image of the holotype is presented ( Fig. 27 ).
