Material examined.

Holotype (fig. 1): male, Malaysia, Borneo , Sarawak, Semongok, 18 km S Kuching, 17.xi.1974, leg. A. Earnshaw, genit. prep. 5794 M. Fibiger. Coll. CNC.

Diagnosis.

Wingspan: 11 mm.

Forewing: beige-brown.

Transverse lines: brown, indistinct; basal, antemedial, postmedial, and subterminal lines well marked by a black spot by costa; the terminal line marked by black elongated dots.

Reniform: elongated, brown.

Hindwing: grey.

Underside: unicolorous brown.

Abdomen: brown with a black dorsal tuft on first segment.

Male genitalia.

Saccus: short, rounded.

Vinculum: short.

Tegumen: long.

Tergite and sternite: indistinct.

Costa: almost straight, without processes.

Sacculus: narrow, inconspicuous.

Ampulla: slightly asymmetrical, ovoid, smoothly rounded.

Constriction between ampulla and pollex: very short and narrow.

Pollex : short and heavily fused with clasper, with long hair-like setae.

Digitus: asymmetrical; relatively short, bent; right digitus much longer and stouter than left one.

Juxta: higher than wide.

Anellus: dorsally fused with juxta.

Phallus: long and narrow, broadest by ductus ejaculatorius, slightly tapered, bent at 2/3; coecum relatively long and rounded apically.

Differences from the other species of Disca are listed above under D. javai .
