Dichotropis sedlacekorum Zelazny , sp. nov.

Description. Forewings 1.8 times longer than wide, length about 4.5 mm. Colour stramineous to light brown; margins of facial carinae and middle of pronotum dark orange. Forewings white, powdered; apical cross-veins between Sc, R, and M slightly infuscated. Facial carinae clearly separated; subantennal processes large, lateral carinae of pronotum foliaceous. Forewings with Sc+R fork just before its middle. Male anal segment with short lateral processes. Genital stale nearly oval, its end slightly truncated; proximal dorsal process short, well separated from the elongated distal dorsal process; the inner side without a finger-like process, but a small group of bristles is located near the base. Aedeagus stem with two small, dorsal, hook-like processes, just before the apical portion; left side of apical part spatulate, slightly pointed at the apex, right side shorter with a broad, slightly pointed process arising from the dorsal side.

Etymology. The species is named for the collectors and the name ' sedlacekorum ' is a latinized noun used in the genitive case plural.

Type material. Holotype ♂ (forewing 4.5 mm), PAPUA NEW GUINEA, labels: 1) N. Guinea: NE/ Garaina , 800 m / 5.1.1968 2) J. & M. Sedlacek / Collectors / BISHOP Museum ( BPBM).

Distribution. New Guinea.

Diagnosis. Dichotropis sedlacekorum is characterized by the white forewings having only the anterior apical cross-veins slightly infuscated, by the lack of a finger-like process on the inside of the male genital styles, and by the aedeagus bearing two small, dorsal hooks on the stem.
