Type host: Cuculus canorus Linnaeus ( Cuculiformes : Cuculidae ). Type locality: Kirgizia.

FEMALE (3 paratypes). Total body length 595–685. Gnathosoma . Infracapitulum punctate anteriorly. Stylophore apunctate, 160–165. Each medial branch of peritremes with 4 chambers, each lateral branch with 7–9 chambers. Movable cheliceral digit 115–120. Idiosoma . Propodonotal shield apunctate, slightly concave on lateral margins, bearing all propodonotal setae except c2. Setae vi, ve and si subequal in length. Bases of setae c1 situated anteriorly to level of setae se. Hysteronotal shield present, weakly sclerotized, not fused to pygidial shield, apunctate, bearing bases of setae d1. Pygidial shield apunctate, bearing all terminal setae. Setae f1 and h1 subequal in length, both 4.8–5 times shorter than f2. Setae h2 1.3–1.5 times longer than f2. Genital plate weakly sclerotized, restricted to genital setae. Genital setae g1–2 1.7–2 times longer than pseudanal setae ps1–2. Aggenital setae ag1–3 subequal in length. All coxal fields weakly sclerotized, apunctate. Setae 3c 2.5–2.8 times longer than 3b. Legs. Setae tc”III–IV 2.2–2.3 times longer than tc’III–IV. Fan-like setae p’ and p” of legs III and IV with 8–10 tines. Lengths of setae: vi 25, ve 25, si 25–30, se 170–185, c1 190–200, c2 175–190, d1 95–110, d2 135–150, e2 125–135, f1 and h1 40–45, f2 190–220, h2 250–330, ag1 110–150, ag2 110–130, ag3 135–150, g1 and g2 50, ps1 and ps2 25–30, 3b 30–40, 3c 70–75, l’RIII–IV 30–40, tc’III–IV 25–30, tc”III–IV 60–70.

Type material examined. Cuculus canorus Linnaeus ( Cuculiformes : Cuculidae ): 3 female paratypes; KIR- GHIZIA, Ottuk village, Issyk-Kul lake, coll. P. Chirov.

Host range and habitat. Monoxenous species inhabiting quills of secondary feathers of Cuculus canorus .
