The single Los Amigos Biological Station specimen was sheltering in a Heliconia View in CoL leaf roll. In addition, two males and a female are labeled Loreto , 80 km NE Iquitos, Explorama Lodge , 1 km up Río Yanamamo from Amazon River, 25–28.VIII.1992, at light, P. Skelley ( FSCA) .

(**) Costaroplatus LRK 008

Notes. Generic placement is tentative for this unusual species. This species is undescribed, with one male from Costa Rica and one male from Peru ( Chaboo project Los Amigos Biological Station collections, UV light) .

* Costaroplatus manus (Schedl, 1936)

In Peru, five from Los Amigos Biological Station , one from UV light and four sheltering in Heliconia leaf rolls, and one male labeled San Martín, Moyabamba , vic. Ecológico ‘ Rumbipata’ , −6.0756°, −76.9688°, 13–18.X.2012, J. E. Eger, UV light ( FSCA) .
