This species is similar to C. schwendingeri Malicky & Chantaramongkol from Thailand, especially in the presence of a pair of very large lateral setal areas covering large parts of segment X and with short, strong setae. Cheumatopsyche junolahi is easily separated from C. schwendingeri in dorsal view by the broader and parallel-sided segment X; the long, dorsad curving apicoventral setal lobes forming sharply triangular apices in dorsal view; and the harpagones that are broader and more robust. In addition, the body and forewings of C. junolahi are a very dark brown to fuscous, not light brown or yellowish as in C. schwendingeri .

Male. Body and wings dark brown, almost fulvous with brown pubescence; wings with no spots or pattern. Maxillary palp segment I shortest, segment II longer, segments III and IV equally long, segment V as long as sum of segments I–IV. Head dorsum dark brown with 7 similarly coloured warts. Proepisternum without swollen setal wart. Each protibiae with 2 spurs. Protarsal claws asymmetrical, laterally flanked by setal bundle. Forewing length 7.1 mm, hind wing length 5.8 mm. Hind wing fork I absent. Distance between forewing crossveins m-cu and cu equal to 1.5 times length of crossvein m-cu.

Male genitalia. Segment IX fused annularly, short; sternum twice as long as tergum ( Fig. 361); anterior margin of segment IX shallowly convex, straight at mid-height ( Fig. 361); apical lobe on posterolateral margins nearly right-angled, very short, located immediately above base of coxopodites; spine row on posterior margins of segment IX complete, with long, stiff spines. Intersegmental step between segment IX and segment X shallow, obtuse-angled in lateral view ( Fig. 361). Segment X long, slender, quadrangular in lateral view ( Fig. 361); broad, quadrangular in dorsal view ( Fig. 362). Dorsal and lateral interlobular gaps absent. Setaless mesocaudal lobe reduced, with slightly concave posterior margin ( Fig. 362). Pair of lateral setose areas covering large areas behind transverse and above longitudinal sutures ( Fig. 361). Transverse sutures very pronounced, running obliquely in lateral view ( Fig. 361). Longitudinal sutures strongly sclerotised, forming continuation of apicoventral lobes ( Fig. 361); running well above and parallel with ventral margin of segment X. Coxopodites robust, slightly dilating distad from basal one-third, with almost parallel-sided distal one-third ( Fig. 361); dorsal margins strongly convex near apices; in ventral view slightly curving mesad along their lengths; narrowest at basal one-third ( Fig. 363). Harpagones broad, in lateral view nearly drop-shaped ( Fig. 361); in ventral view parallelogram-shaped, slightly curving mesad ( Fig. 363). Phallotheca ( Fig. 364) straight, narrowing towards mid-length before slightly broadening apicad; phallobase shallow; sclerotised endothecal process rounded with small incision at ventral margin; phallotremal sclerites exceeding ventral margin of endothecal process, not covered by endothecal process; vestigial ventral, endothecal membranous lobe present.

Holotype male: VIETNAM: Thua Thien Hue Province : Bach Ma National Park, 700 m, 22.ii.2006, light trap [J. Oláh Jr & Z. Ecsedi] ( OPC, in alcohol).

Distribution: Vietnam.

Etymology: named in honour of the collector, János Oláh Jr. for operating light traps during bird survey activities in some very remote areas in Vietnam.
