Diagnosis. Cheiramiona baviaan sp. nov. is similar to C. florisbadensis Lotz, 2002 , C. lejeunei Lotz, 2002 and C. saniensis sp. nov. in the general shape of the SPER and in the length and direction of the copulatory ducts, but is differentiated by the shape of the epigynal plate ( Figs 2 View FIGURES 1 – 12. 1 – 3 , 86 View FIGURES 85 – 96. 85 – 90 , see Lotz 2002: figs 63, 118), by the bend in the copulatory ducts and by the spacing of the copulatory openings ( Figs 3 View FIGURES 1 – 12. 1 – 3 , 87 View FIGURES 85 – 96. 85 – 90 , see Lotz 2002: figs 64, 119).

Description. Female: (n = 1): TL = 5.70; CL = 2.30; CW = 1.80; OAL = 0.30; OAW = 1.05; CLL = 0.05. Chelicerae: robust with long fangs; PMT:RMT = 5:5 ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 12. 1 – 3 ). Abdomen: creamy-yellow with heart mark and two longitudinal rows of dark spots from posterior of heart mark to spinnerets. Epigynum ( Figs 2–3 View FIGURES 1 – 12. 1 – 3 ): wider than long, with two slight pockets in anterior margin of wide central depression; copulatory openings situated posteriorly in depression; internally, short copulatory ducts proceed anteriorly before ending in medial part of SPER; fertilization tubes enter SPER postero-medially.
