Holotype:

FMNH 53272.

Type locality:

Davao Province, Mindanao Island, Philippine Islands.

Remarks:

In the diagnosis for this taxon, Hoser (2004) claimed that this taxon attains larger size and stated the same as for Broghammerus reticulatus dalegibbonsi regarding the color (see remarks there). Since both are also true for the nominate form, and no further diagnostic characters are given, this taxon is placed in the synonymy of Broghammerus reticulatus reticulatus .
