TYPE LOCALITY: “ in Longobardia … Parmae [Lombardy … Parma (Italy) ]” .

TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♀, syntype (missing left fore-, right mid- and hind-legs) ( MZUF: Box 9): Digonicheta Rnd. / mariettii Rndn., Insub. [= Insubria (= Lombardy)] / 455; 1 ♀, syntype ( MZUB: Box 323): 21 88 / Bigonicheta mariettii Rond. , ex a. parmensi / mariettii Rndn. , Parma.

CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Triarthria setipennis (Fallén, 1810) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 319, O’Hara et al. 2020: 618).

REMARKS: Rondani (1845d: 35) described Bigonicheta mariettii , without specifying either the number or the sex of the specimens and not giving a range of lengths, from material he had collected and also received from D.B. Marietti. We found two syntypes in this study.
