Type locality. Cerro Duida , Amazonas, Venezuela .

Distribution. Known from Brazil and Venezuela on the Guiana Shield ( Plt. 177A View Plate 177 ). In Brazil, restricted to the Guianan savanna ( Plt. 177A View Plate 177 ) at intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 177B View Plate 177 ). Observed in the field in open areas and evergreen forest ( Passos et al., 2013).
