Type locality. “ Village of Chupada. ” Chapada dos Guimarães, state of Mato Grosso, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 244A View Plate 244 ), recorded only from the type locality in the northwestern portion of the Cerrado ( Plt. 244A View Plate 244 ), at intermediate elevation ( Plt. 244B View Plate 244 ). No detailed field data on habitat use are available for this species.
