Type locality. “L’íntérieur de l’Amérique meridional,” restricted to Goiás state, Brazil ( Lema and Renner, 2005) .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 239A View Plate 239 ), widespread in the Cerrado and its contact with Amazonia ( Plt. 239A View Plate 239 ), from intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 239B View Plate 239 ). Observed in the field in dry forest ( FranÇa and Araújo, 2006).
