Type locality. State of Pernambuco, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 5A View Plate 5 ) restricted to the northern portion of the Atlantic Forest and easternmost Amazonia ( Plt. 5A View Plate 5 ),at low elevations ( Plt. 5B View Plate 5 ). No detailed field data on habitat use are available for this species.
