Type locality. Mishana , department of Loreto, Peru .

Distribution. Known from northern portion of South America, in Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Peru and Venezuela ( Plt. 4A View Plate 4 ). In Brazil, restricted to the northwestern portion of Amazonia ( Plt. 4A View Plate 4 ) at low elevations ( Plt. 4B View Plate 4 ). Observed in the field in forest ( Rodrigues, 1991).
