Remarks. The species is described on the basis of a very poorly preserved specimen ( Podenas & Poinar, 2009) and therefore its description is provisional. However, it is clearly distinguished from the new species in the details of the wing venation and the structure of the male hypopygium, especially in the presence of processes on the gonocoxites and a size of parameres, which are much shorter than in Aleksiana rasnitsyni gen. et sp. nov.
The female is unknown.
