Material examined. 6 specimens (CASIZ 187245). Philippines, Luzón Island, Batangas Province; Calumpan Peninsula, Maricaban Strait, Basketball dive site, 13. 69º N 120º 89º E, 54–73 m, depth, coral rubble, J. Comendador coll., 11 May 2011. Hearst Philippine Biodiversity Expedition 2011, Christina Pietrowski, California Academy of Sciencies, Invertebrate Zoology.
Habitat. Previously known only from shallow waters, on live corals; the range of depth is increased to 73 m depth.
Distribution. This species was known only from Panglao Island (SW of Bohol Island), Philippines. This is the first report for Luzón Island and the first report since the original description.
