DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Mwinilunga, in Northwestern Province ; Mufulira and Luanshya, in Copperbelt Province; Kopa, in Muchinga Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include Meliaceae species Trichilia emetica Vahl. , and one Zingiberaceae species (Afromomum sp.) ( African Moths 2019; Pinhey 1972b).
