DISTRIBUTION: Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka , in Lusaka Province; Luangwa District, Luangwa Valley , in Eastern Province ; Zambezi Valley, Lake
Bangweulu District in Luapula Province .
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Ziziphus mucronata (Rhamnaceae) is the host plant of the taxon in South Africa ( Taylor 1953; African Moths 2019;), while in Zambia host plants of the species are not known.
