COMMON NAME (S): Smooth Emerald.

SYNONYM(S): Agraptochlora marginata Warren, 1894 ; Agraptochlora subaspersa Warren, 1894 ; Agraptochlora rubriplaga Warren, 1897a ; Pycnodontia apicata Warren, 1901b .

IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).

DISTRIBUTION: Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Alala plateau, near Mkushi, in Central Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include two Rubiaceae species namely Vangueria madagascariensis J.F.Gmel. and V. infausta Burch. ( African Moths 2019) .
