Goiás: Cristalina, ca. 1250 m, 24 March 1963, E.P. Heringer 9229/1442 (holotype: HB [not seen]; isotypes: HEPH [not seen], RB [RB00282958], UB [scan seen]) ( Fig. 35 F View FIGURE 35 ).
Distribution and habitat: — Brazil (Goiás, in the Cristalina region). Campo rupestre; 1000–1200 m.
Taxonomic notes: —A rarely collected species. Easily recognized by its subshrubby habit, syncephalium and one floret per capitulum.
