Type host. Urophycis brasiliensis (Kaup) (Pisces: Phycidae ).

Site of infection. Posterior end of intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Mar del Plata (38º08ʹS, 57º32ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 5314. Paratypes: MLP 5315 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5316 (533), MLP 5317 (5ƤƤ). Reference. Lanfranchi et al. (2004).
