Goja meremberg View in CoL n. sp. Male

( Figs 13–18 View FIGURES 13‒18 )

Diagnosis. It is related to P. garridoi n. sp., differing from it by the shape of the median process of the hypandrium, by the shape of the posterior processes of the aedeagal arch, and by the size and shape of the endophallic sclerites. The forewing Rs has six branches, and has one spur vein anterior to R2+3; M is seven branched, with M3 and M7 distally forked. The hindwing Rs is three branched as well as the hindwing M.

Color (in 80% ethanol). Body cream. Head pattern ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 13‒18 ), vertex with broad dark brown to ochre area between the compound eyes, posteriorly concave; forehead, clypeus and labrum brown; postclypeus with convergent oblique striae; labral sclerites and anterior region of labrum dark brown; genae and postgenae yellowish, genae with small dark brown spots in lower area. Compound eyes dark brown; ocellar triangle black. Antennae light brown. Maxillary palps light brown, Mx4 brown. Thorax brown, tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax dark brown, metapleura brown. Legs light brown. Forewings ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 13‒18 ), nearly hyaline; pterostigma with median and distal bands light brown; veins brown. Hindwings ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13‒18 ), hyaline, veins brown. Abdomen cream, with brown subcuticular spots. Clunium light brown, with brown posterior margin. Hypandrium brown. Phallosome with aedeagal arch and endophallic sclerites dark brown. Epiproct and paraprocts light brown.

Morphology. Head: H/MxW: 1.57; compound eyes large, H/d: 3.38; IO/MxW: 0.68. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with seven denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.03. Forewings ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 13‒18 ): FW/W: 2.65; Rs 6-branched, M 7-branched. Pterostigma: lp/wp: 5.65, areola postica low, elongate: al/ah: 3.40. Hindwings ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13‒18 ): HW/w: 3.08; areola postica low, elongate: al/ah: 3.53; Rs 3-branched; M 3-branched; Rs and M joined by a crossvein. Legs: fore- tarsi without ctenidiobothria; mid- and hind- tarsi with ctenidiobothria. Hypandrium ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 13‒18 ) broad, setose, with sides converging to straight posterior border, median posterior process triangular. Phallosome ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 13‒18 ): concave anteriorly, side struts straight, widening distally; aedeagal arch with two wide processes, extending mesally to the sides; two pairs of asymmetric endophallic sclerites; lateral sclerites long, the right one wider in the middle, ending in a blunt process; the left one shorter, curved, pointed anteriorly, dilated posteriorly; mesal sclerites asymmetric, distally acuminate. Paraprocts ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 13‒18 ), oval, elongate, with setae and macrosetae in posterior border as illustrated; sensory fields with 22 trichobothria in basal rosettes. Epiproct ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 13‒18 ) broad, trapeziform, with three setae mesally, near anterior bor- der, setae along posterior border as illustrated.
