COMMON NAME (S): Clouded Lichen. SYNONYM(S): Bryophila velutina Felder, 1874 . IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE). DISTRIBUTION: Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia , South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Ndola, in Copperbelt Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Ziziphus mucronata Willd. (Rhamnaceae) is reported as the larval foodplant of the taxon in South Africa
( Taylor 1953), while, no Larval foodplants are known for Zambia though the miombo tree species Z.
