COMMON NAME (S): Geometer moth.
SYNONYM(S): Aspilates exumbrata Walker 1863a ; Osteodes eritreensis ( Prout, 1915) .
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia , Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Kabwe, in Central Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Vachellia karroo (Hayne) Banfi & Galasso (Fabaceae) is a plant host of the taxon in South Africa (Kŗger 2001). No host plant is yet associated with the taxon in Zambia.
