DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Type locality, Zambesi [now Zambezi] River, but specific area on the river not named as the Zambezi River occurs in Northwestern , Western , Southern and Lusaka Provinces of Zambia .

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Unknown.
