Also cited from Burma); Rougemont, 1981a: 342 (characters of male; Burma); Puthz, 1981a: 18 (Vietnam); Rougemont, 1983b: 45 (Thailand); Puthz, 1983: 7 (Vietnam; China); Herman, 2001a: 2331; Smetana, 2004: 545 (Palaearctic catalog); Puthz 2013a: 1400; Schülke & Smetana, 2015: 835 (Palaearctic catalog).

Material examined: China: FUKIEN, Changtai , District, Farm, 1 male, 18.V.1940, T.C.Maa Collector BISHOP MUS. (coll. Puthz) . Guangxi: Fangchenggang County, Fulong Country , 1 male, 220 m, 15.III.1998, Hai-Sheng Zhou leg. (IZ-CAS); Thailand: 2 females, 30km. W. Chiena Rai. Mr Rougemont det. (IZ-CAS).

Remarks: We found this species in Guangxi; this species is allied to S. zhangyejunianus Lv et Zhou , sp. nov. in most aspects, but it is distinguishable from the latter by the following characteristics: punctures on pronotum less confluent, smaller elytra spot, spot not extending to the lateral margin of elytra and aedeagal median lobe ( Figs. 17A View FIGURE17 & 18A View FIGURE18 ) with more acutely triangular apical sclerotized area.

Distribution. China (Guangxi, Hunan, Yunnan, Fujian), Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam.
