Type locality. Rio das Mortes, Toricoejo, Barra do GarÇas , state of Mato Grosso, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 10A View Plate 10 ). Restricted to the central portion of the Cerrado ( Plt. 10A View Plate 10 ) at low elevations of the Araguaia River depression ( Plt. 10B View Plate 10 ).Observed in the field in gallery forest ( Arredondo and Zaher, 2010).
