Diagnosis. Similar to A. verticalis with moderately infuscate wings and pigmented hind wing Cub vein. Head lacking melanic markings and apex of hind tibia well melanised.

Description. Body length 5.8. Fore wing length 5.4. Ovipositor length 3.6. Body color mostly yellow except melanic as follows: antenna including most of scape, apices of hind femur and tibia, and most of hind tarsomeres. 49 flagellomeres. Fore wing moderately and evenly infuscate. Propodeum mostly rugose with a median carina in anterior half and a median cell defined by a pair of longitudinal carinae that merge anteriorly. Cub of hind wing well pigmented.

Etymology. Named in honor of Dr J.R. Mclintock, the collector of the type specimen, for his many contributions to Canadian entomology.

Specimens examined. Holotype ♀. Grand Cayman, Georgetown, 19°17’N, 81°02’W, 15–30.iii.1965, J.R. Mclintock, H5172 (CNC).
