Paratypes 1 ♀, Thailand, Sakon Nakhon, Phu Phan NP, Huay Wien Prai , iii.2007, 17° 06.863’ N, 104° 00.327’ E, 387m, S Tongboonchai (voucher BCLDQ00177, Genbank JF962545 View Materials ) ( QSBG) GoogleMaps ; 1♀, Thailand, Loei Province, Phu Ruea NP, nature tail, 17° 30.740’ N, 101° 20.650' E, 1353m, Patikhom Tumtip (voucher BCLDQ00751, Genbank JQ388399 View Materials ) ( BMNH) GoogleMaps .

Body length 5.2 mm, fore wing length 4 mm and antenna length approx 7 mm.

Antenna with 54 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres 1.5 x longer than wide. Occipital carina complete, medio-dorsally produced into a point, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron puntate-aciculate, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed, rugulose, speculum absent. Propodeum with midlongitudinal carina on anterior 0.6, replaced by transverse striation posteriorly, rather densely long-setose. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.8 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell with glabrous zone. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.55 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.75 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.4 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.4 x 1- M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu well-developed, tubular basally, pigmented, antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia with comb of modified setae medially and ventrally. Claws with pecten of very fine adpressed teeth of almost equal length. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite very weak, rounded, ending well before spiracle. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite just discernable on anterior 0.6.

Etymology. Zoological term meaning a featherlike or plumelike organ or part, in reference to the fine claw pecten.

Notes. Occipital carina slightly more pointed medially in holotype, but DNA sequence identical in all three specimens.
