The albirena species-group
Diagnosis. The species-group comprises the only species well different externally from other congeners by its dark chocolate brown colouration and quite indistinct transverse lines. The male genitalia of the species-group are characterized by the wide and symmetrical clavi, the short dorsal costal protrusion with a rounded tip, and the rounded tip of the cucullus. In the female genitalia, the antrum is short and having a straight ventral ostial margin.
