Material examined. – 1 male, 8.1 × 6.0 mm ( ZRC 2008.1379 ), Stn. CP 2862, 124– 101 m, off western coast of Batangas , South China Sea, coll. MV DA-BFAR, 23 Mar.2008 .

from Amakusa and the East China Sea ( Sakai, 1935, 1976). This is the first time this species is recorded from the Philippines.
