This large family contains many species belonging to 28 genera. Only one species, Pseudochthonius homodentatus Chamberlin, 1929 , was found on Passalidae (Aguiar and Bürnheim 2011; Castillo and Villegas-Guzmán 2016) ( Tables 2 View Table 2 , 4, 14).
