Wojewoda et al. (2004) also recorded other species of wood-decaying fungi, and some of the above-listed species, at many other places in North Korea; however, their substrates were undetermined, e.g. Amylostereum chailletii , Bjerkandera fumosa , Chondrostereum purpureum , Oligoporus caesius (currently Postia caesia ), Oxyporus populinus , Peniophora cinerea , Polyporus alveolaris (currently Neofavolus alveolaris ), P. arcularius (currently Lentinus arcularius ), Stereum rugosum , Trametes gibbosa , T. hirsuta , T. pubescens , and others.

This contribution underlines the wide diversity of pathogenic fungi causing leaf spots, blights, anthracnoses, diebacks, powdery mildews, rusts, tar spots, needle casts, wilt, and wood-decay on woody plants in North Korea. The total number of species, however, is certainly more. It is highly likely that other unpublished specimens from North Korea collected by mycologists or phytopathologists are deposited in other herbaria in the world.
