Head, pronotum, and scutellum black, elytra dirty yellow ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 13 – 23 ), sometimes elytra with juxtasutural interstria and sides shadowy piceous ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 13 – 23 ); legs reddish brown, antennal club piceous. Head with epistome moderately convex, depressed toward clypeal margin, coarsely and somewhat irregularly punctate on disc; punctation confusedly subrugose distally; clypeus distinctly sinuate at middle, round on sides, thickly bordered, edge upturned, glabrous; genae obtusely round, setose, protruding from the eyes; frontal suture finely impressed, front distinctly irregularly punctate. Pronotum transverse, moderately convex, dually punctate; large punctures, five to six times larger than small punctures, denser on sides; fine small punctures rather regularly scattered throughout; lateral margins almost straight, thickly bordered, edge sparsely setose; hind angles widely truncate, truncation feebly sinuate inwardly; base faintly bisinuate, entirely bordered, the border crenulate by a series of contiguous punctures. Scutellum triangularly elongate, flat, irregularly punctate on basal half. Elytra moderately convex, subparallel-sided, rather deeply striate; striae crenulate; interstriae flat, superficially and finely microreticulate thus almost dull, near imperceptibly sparsely punctate. Metatibiae superior spur as long as first metatarsomere; latter as long as following 3 metatarsomeres combined.
