Coenosia uralensis Schnabl, 1915
Coenosia (Palusia) octopunctata var. uralensis Schnabl View in CoL in Becker et al., 1915: 4. Type-locality: Russia, “Karskaja Tundra” [= Yamalo-Nenetskiy AO, east slope of Polar Urals]. Syntypes 2♂, ZIN (not seen by Pont, 2004: 83).
Siberian records: Yamalo-Nenetskiy AO, east slope of Polar Urals [as “Karskaja Tundra”] (Schnabl in Becker et al., 1915: 3, type-locality).
General distribution: Known only from the type-locality in West Siberia.
Comment. This was described as a variety of C. octopunctata Zetterstedt , but according to Hennig (1962b: 582) it is a distinct but otherwise currently unrecognised species.
Comment. The syntypes of C. octopunctata var. uralensis were collected on 16 July 1909. According to the expedition itinerary by Backlund (1911: 71), the expedition made stop 23 on 16 July at the River Nyarma- Yaga, a tributary of the River Kara, 275 m.
